A brief history of Tiger Discos.

The seed for Tiger Discos was planted a few years ago, after a friends wedding, where the DJ ignored the wishes of the Bride and Groom, he played hard dance music which was not suitable for the age range of most of the guests and not what the happy couple wanted to be played. He also was not interested in playing requests or dedications for the guests.

The impression that people came away with, was that the DJ was there for himself, and wanted the evening to run to his schedule, which is NOT the way we do things at Tiger Discos. We like to have the event organisers as involved as possible in the arrangements, and if possible checks will be made at various points through the event.

Once the happy couple had returned from honeymoon they commented to me that they had not enjoyed the evening and they that wished I had DJ’d the reception, as they knew I had done some DJ’ing before.

...... and the rest so they say is history ... well not quite, that was in 2001.

Tiger Discos was actually formed in 2003, when I met up with another local DJ in West Yorkshire (where I used to live) he happened to mention that he was looking for some more DJ’s. So some weeks of training and evaluation followed, and once those were successfully completed I was out and about.
